A shower beforehand helps the oil absorb, though it is not required. Let the therapist know if you have sensitive skin or a fragrance allergy.
During the session
You may keep your underwear on. The therapist uses towels for privacy and works face-down and then face-up, adjusting pressure whenever you ask.
After the session
Oil is left on the skin to absorb. Shower after 30 minutes if you prefer, and place a towel on hotel bedding to protect the linen.
